Course Overview
This 1-day, in-person, hands-on course is designed for technicians, engineers, and service personnel who require practical knowledge of single-phase UPS systems ranging from 1 kVA to 10 kVA. Participants will gain a solid understanding of the full lifecycle of UPS systems, from installation and commissioning through to operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting..

This course is CPD accredited (7 CPD Points), providing participants with formal recognition for professional development hours.

4. Bypass Panel Operation
Explains internal and external bypass functionality:

• Safely transfer loads and perform maintenance without power interruption

• Operate UPS systems under normal and abnormal conditions

5. UPS Service and Maintenance
Provides guidance on:

• Routine inspection and preventive maintenance

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics

• Battery replacement and lifespan management

• Safe servicing practices

Practical / Hands-On Training

Throughout the day, participants apply theory directly on UPS units, including:

• Installation and commissioning exercises

• Configuration and monitoring tasks

• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting scenarios

• Simulated power interruption tests
