The kit is designed for electrical apprentices / technicians starting out in installation, maintenance and measurement work — it bundles essential handheld test tools in one convenient case, so the user is equipped for general field electrical measurement.

Typical components (based on similar HIOKI kits) may include: a voltage detector, a digital multimeter, an AC clamp meter, possibly an infrared thermometer, plus test leads, carrying case. (For example the HPK-1 includes a voltage detector, IR thermometer, clamp meter and DMM)

The aim: one kit you can carry to job sites for inspection, measurement, safety checks, diagnostics — rather than buying each instrument separately.
