Description
A Seaward Red IEC Lead is a high‑visibility mains test lead used with Seaward portable appliance testers to connect the tester to the appliance under test. The red colour makes it easy to identify during testing and helps prevent confusion with other leads. It typically has a standard IEC mains plug on one end (to connect to the tester) and an IEC socket or appliance‑specific plug on the other, allowing safe and reliable connection for earth continuity, insulation, leakage, and polarity tests as part of routine PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) procedures.
