- Description
Description
PASCO’s Wireless Air Quality Sensor measures key environmental factors including temperature, humidity, particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and a combined measurement of ozone and nitrous oxide. This compact device helps students monitor and record air quality in various settings, such as classrooms and communities, and assess pollutants from sources like dust, pollen, smoke, and chemicals. It enables remote logging to track air quality during commutes and evaluate the effectiveness of greenspaces in filtering pollutants. The sensor’s data can be used to calculate Air Quality Indexes (AQI) using NOAA’s Air Now AQI Calculator.
