We stock both thermal test tags (BTP range), designed for use with thermal PAT printers, and non-thermal, ribbon-printed test tags (DTT/ELT range) for printers that use a print ribbon. Each is available in the full standard colour set of blue, green, grey, orange, red, white and yellow, so you can run a colour-coded testing schedule across your asset register.

Yes the do; any test tags used for in-service testing in New Zealand must align with AS/NZS 3760, the joint Australian/New Zealand standard for testing and tagging electrical equipment. Tags for second-hand electrical equipment being sold also need to meet AS/NZS 5761:2011.
Thermal test tags, which are a part of our BTP range, are printed using heat and don’t need a ribbon, so they suit thermal PAT printers. Non-thermal tags from our DTT/ELT range are printed using a ribbon and suit printers that require one.Â
