Overview
-
This is an analogue galvanometer / micro-ammeter, designed for measuring very small DC currents.
-
It has a centre-zero scale, meaning it can measure currents in both directions (positive and negative).
-
The dial is 45° inclined, allowing for better readability.
-
It is fitted with safety 4 mm sockets, making it safer for use in student / lab environments.
-
Current range: –500 µA to +500 µA.
Key Features
-
High Sensitivity: Because it measures microamperes, it’s ideal for small current or induction experiments.
-
Clear Readout: Large, tilted display helps improve visibility.
-
Durable / Safe Design: Built for educational use; includes safety sockets to prevent misuse.
-
Compact & Lightweight: Budget model, so it’s relatively simple and easy to integrate into basic physics setups.
-
Wide Compatibility: Useful for teaching electromagnetic induction, or demonstrating current in coils.
