Description
The Steam Generator is designed for thermal expansion and heat conduction experiments. It can also heat submerged samples for specific heat studies. Key features include an easy-pour lip, nine heater settings with a digital readout, a safety steam relief valve, and an automatic shut-off switch that resets when safe. It detects when the lid is in place and only produces steam then. Additional features include an LED low water warning light, a rubberized handle, and carrying handles.
Performance:
With the lid off, it heats 500 ml of water from 24°C to 92°C in 8 minutes.
With the lid on, it heats 500 ml of water from 24°C to steam in 5 minutes.
