PASCO Wireless Charge Sensor • PS-3240
The Wireless Charge Sensor allows students to measure electrostatic charge on objects. It can measure and display both charge and voltage using PASCO data collection software. The sensor includes a BNC-to-alligator clip cable for connecting to electrostatic equipment like the Faraday Ice Pail, enabling charge measurement by induction. It can also function as a high impedance voltmeter. An E-Field Detector probe is included to compare the relative charges of nearby objects. Key features include displaying charge polarity and measuring both charge and voltage.
